Located between Stafford and Rugeley, Bishton Farm Pools consists of three spring fed, well established pools.

This is a total pleasure fishing venue with carp of varying sizes and strains.

Pool 1 is very mixed with Tench, Crucian, Mirror, Ghost, Common, and Grass Carp up to 7lbs. There are also plenty of silver fish such as Bream, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Gudgeon.

Pools 2 and 3 have the bigger carp over 20lbs ranging from Linear, Mirror, Ghost, Common and Grass carp. There is also Bream, Tench, Barbel, Perch and Roach. Pool 2 is a runs water. Pool 3 is a specimen water.

If it is your first visit to the venue, carp to legered hair rigged corn, boillie, pellet and meat have all done well here.

Any bait will be successful in Pool 1. Float fished pellets, corn, worms, bread, maggots, casters and pastes have all done well here.

All pools have small islands to fish to but the fish do move around on Pools 2 and 3 so do not neglect the margins.

Go over the River Trent and also the canal, then turn right into Bishton Lane. Keep on here, going over the slightly staggered crossroads and you eventually come to a rail bridge. Go over this and turn immediately right then follow the blue signs to the fishery.
